lovely apartments though getting tired and ready for refurb,very friendly staff,peaceful and quite,yes was occasional dog barking but does not keep you awake.yes the beds are hard as are most beds abroad.not much in this resort very quiet but a fabulous beach.only 20mins walk to praia de rocha which we enjoyed every night.well lit walkway aswell and not at all intimidating. we had a great week and would go again. you can use facilities of hotel too.

We were a little disappointed with the standard or the room, very tired and outdated. Could do with a refurb, the furnishings and general state were tatty. However the staff were excellent, room was cleaned every day thoroughly especially the bathroom which positively shined after. Good location but would recommend hiring a car as there isn’t a great deal to do or places to eat within the hotels vicinity.
We mainly went to Praia do Rocha in the evenings for meals, loads of great restaurants, bars and shops. We also discovered a fantastic beach for during the day. We toured the length of the Algarve and loved it there are loads of things to see and do, if the hotel and been to a higher standard holidaying in Portugal would be perfect. Room have no air con but you can hire a fan, does have a safe which again you have to pay to hire. The pool was tiny and didn’t get a lot of sun in the afternoons but we went to the lovely beaches instead. Portugal is a fantastic holiday destination and the best bit its only 2 - 3 hours flight form UK

The girls in the lobby gave exellent service and guidance
The towels were changed every day
The beds were terrible ,hard and gave us backpain
Everything getting really old and nothing has been refurnished
The location just near the beach but far away from the main core
Dog barking all night which was terrible
This is supposed to be free with animals but there are people that own couple of those apartments that can have dogs and animals because it is their apartment

We stay in these apartments from 22nd - 29th July 2010. I found the rooms much better than I expected as we booked this holiday as a last minute thing and I was worried. The room was large, it had a tv, nice sized kitchen area and a lovely sofa and dining room table, it also had a very large balcony which was the icing on the cake. Now don't get me wrong its basic, not high-tech or luxurious but it was very clean and really served its purpose.
The walk into praia da rocha was pleasent, took about 10 minutes, however a taxi is only 4euro and is much quicker.... the main resort was excellent!! Try Bennys Pizza place on the main front and for lunch definately give Kathys a go, food is excellent!! Proper british food, great!
For the steak of your dreams you MUST go to the Sitting Bull American Steak House!! what an experience!!
If you are keen to do trips go to Slide and Splash waterpark and Quiteria Market....
