Stayed her the end of June 2011 this was my second vist to this hotel. The location of this hotel is fantastic right on the beach and a very short walk from main strip. The pool area is brilliant you get a new pool towel on a daily basis. The best bit about the pool is that u can get up at any time of the day and get a sun lounger. The negative about the pool area is the restaurant very expensive and service not great would recommend going next door to the oriental for food.
We stayed in the rooms that have sunloungers on the balcony which was fantastic to lie out if we didn't want to go to the pool. Negatives on the rooms bit dated and dark.
Cant say much for the bar area in the hotel never anything happening there but can always pop to the casino. Connecting corridor from the hotel. Didn't go to any of the cabaret nights.
Didnt find the staff very friendly this time round at reception had issues with the broad band and went to reception to report it was told that happens and given my money back asked if it would be fixed was told don't know. Also there was some sort of leak from the roof around reception so buckets around the place. For the price you pay for this place you would expect a higher standard.
The reason that I am swayed to this hotel is for the pool area and the location but if returning next year might try somewhere different as the beaches are fab and you can find really quite areas to put down your towel. I returned in September and did stay in the sol flor which was lovely but not on the same scale as the casino hotel.
