“Quiet and warm!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 November 2011

The hotel is actually a collection of small cottages and is located in a very quiet & residential part of Lagos. However, it is just 5mins away from the beautiful beaches of lagos.

The manager at the check in was really warm & friendly and showed us to our rooms well before the check-in time. Since we were on our honeymoon, they had kept a bottle of bubbly for us! that was really sweet. The room was very large and spacious and had its own kitchen. the hotel has two pools (we didnt use either) - one for summer & the other for winter (heated).

We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel and both were very good. Everything was nice and fresh and very Portuguese.

“Nice location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 October 2011

Close to one of the best beaches - Camilo (5 min by car, 15 if you walk), we had a studio which was the right choice as Lagos offers great restaurants and we just made our own snacks for lunch. Price was okay, it is a quiet place, wouldn't recommend the restaurant.

“Convenient and comfortable”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 September 2011

Our family spent 5 nights at this resort. The rooms are widely spread out, but nice, clean, with parking space available. The best beaches are close by but some of the rooms are a ten or fifteen minute walk to the breakfast area. Breakfast is quite good by European standards, The facility rents out towels and beach umbrellas. The only problem we had was when we left; since we had returned our rental car, we had to walk to the breakfast place/office with all our luggage.

Room Tip: Ask for room near restaurant.

“Interesting "hotel"”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 September 2011

Arrived at 11:00 at night and the reception was closed which got me cross right from the start - no doorbell, but a mobile number on the wall. Called the number and the concierge appeared within 3 minutes. Checked in and then taken along the road to our room which was in a separate block about 75yards from the reception.
Had ordered a double bed and was given twin beds- complained about this the next day and was told they only had twins!
Had a ground floor room with patio doors to a grassed lawn and small unheated pool. surrounded by bushes and shrubs- very nice, private and quiet, shared this area with about 4 other older couples- including some grumpy Germans who refused to make eye contact or say hello even though they were sitting 3 feet away.

Very clean room, but basic. I cannot really fault anything in the hotel clean, good buffet full breakfast with bacon, egg etc as well as continental. Beautiful beach 5 minutes walk, mini market and local bar 3 minutes walk, 15 minutes walk to town centre.

The only gripe was the price- for €123.00/night, in Lagos, I expect 4 star accommodation and service- this hotel is 3 star at best.
