We had a wonderful experience at the Solar do Mos. The interior has touches of elegance and great general décor. The breakfast (included with the room) was the best of our 10 day trip to Lisbon and Spain! The hotel is not within walking distance of the bus station, but was within walking distance of restaurants and the beach. We took a lovely early morning jog to the beautiful nearby beaches and coves, which was one of the highlights of our trip. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Overall, this hotel was a tremendous value for the price, especially if your visit will center on the nearby beautiful beaches.

Our third stay at Solar De Mos. Guests are made to feel at home by Carlos and Lina who work so hard to make your stay enjoyable. Rooms are spottlesly clean,good home cooked food and an well stocked bar. Plenty of space outside around the pool to sunbath or to relax over a lunchtime snack.
Will we return - Definatley.

A quaint hotel with all the amenities that you look for. Nothing is too big or small for the hotel employees to assist with. Solar De Mos is a 20 minute walk into town and about 15 minutes walk to the beaches. We discovered four beaches all within walking distance. The hotels outdoor area allows you to relax on a sun lounger whilst reading a book or cooling down after a dip in the inviting swimming pool.

We visited solar de mos in july 2011. Nice hotel with cosy atmosphere. breakfast is ok(cold meat,chease,eggs,omelette,cereals,tasty bread and fruits but there isn't any fresh croussants). Rooms are not big ,but clean and comfortable. Lena and Carlos are friendly and helpful. We visited piri-piri night and enjoyed it. Hotel is situated in walking distanse to the town(20 min) and beach(10 min). We had a really good holiday there!!!
