“Perfect for couples & families”

A massive complex, not your standard style hotel. All buildings are only two stories high, and are set in smallish) groups around the grounds, which in some cases could mean a 10 minute stroll back to your rooms.
Rooms are large with a good size bathroom plus air conditioning, could do with a little updating, but no big deal.
Food is very good, and staff are fairly attentive and polite. During the day you can either sunbathe round the pool, or for a bit of peace and quiet use the sunbeds within the extensive grounds. Yiu could also go down to the beach, directly from the complex and use the sunbeds on the beach, free of charge.
For those of you who have been to Centre Parcs in the UK, the whole design is very similar.
The whole complex is a little a isolated with no bars/shops in easy walking distance, this shouldn't be a problem for most people as there is ample to do on site.

Room Tip: Decide whether you want a room near all facilities, or for quieter rooms choose some wher near the e...

“October 2011 week in Adriana Beach Club”

We booked this last minute for my birthday. It was our first visit to Portugal. The complex was gorgeous. We were allocated AB block across the road, but as our daughter is a "water baby" we decided to get moved nearer the pool. We paid 60 euros to move and they gave us G block which was great as it was only a minute or two from the pool. AA and AB blocks are across the road which is about a 7 minute walk from the main reception.

The food was great. At no time did you feel you couldnt eat something. I dont eat fish but even though there was a wide variety of fish there was also other things to choose from. Breakfast was the usual continental breakfast, hot breakfast, freshly made crepes, fruit etc. Lunch choice was great with pizza, meat dishes, salad stuff, bolonegese fish etc. The food was plentiful and fresh, although I like my food roasting which is wasnt but there was a microwave and I used that to make sure my food was roasting.

The pool was great. The other pool and grill were not open as it was the end of the season. There were plenty of sunloungers and never a problem getting a lounger no matter what time you went to the pool.

The drink was good, although local brands but once the mixer is in the alcohol you wouldnt know. I know some people think all inclusive places the drink is watered down certainly not here as the drink was really strong and couldnt drink so I then started ordering a half shot vodka rather than the usual halfway up the glass shot!! Ice cream, tea and coffee was available all the time from the snack restaurant which is before the main restaurant.

As it was my birthday they made me a cake and gave us a bottle of champagne at dinner which was really nice. I also went to the spa on my birthday which was awesome would definintely recommend that.

There was entertainment every night of some sort either in the indoor theatre or outside stage area. There were also games during the day.

The complex was remote which didnt really suit my husband because he has ants in his pants!! but me and my daughter really enjoyed it. The complex is big and the apartments are like wee mini houses. The beds were hard but comfy enough. We saw an elderly couple asking for the mattresses that go on the kids camp beds for their beds and the reception staff were happy to oblige.

The house has its own beach which is spectacular!! The views are breath-taking.

All in all we had a great time away and would recommend it. Not sure what it would be like peak season but certainly enjoyed it during October school break

Room Tip: When booking room check out prices for basic room which is AA or AB block and if you want to upgrad...

Been some time since we last visited Portugal, but certainly made a brilliant choice choosing this Hotel. Stayed in AA block which was described as basic by the tour operator. Ok it did'nt have a flat screen TV, no big deal. Good sized room, large bathroom with a bidet!! and one hell of a power shower, great aircon and a good sized balcony to sit out on on an evening. People have commented on the firmness of the beds but we both slept well. Other comments regarding the block being across the road from the main complex did not bother us, a 5min walk thats all and peacefull, suppose the only drawback was your glasses that you brought back with you from the bar for a night cap, were'nt as full as when you started..lol !!!
Now the food, absolutely fantastic from breakfast through to lunch to dinner.
I love fish and tried many different varieties, absolutely delicious. I like meat also and the different meats on offer were superb, just spoilt for choice, we both put on a few pounds. We tried the grill on one occasion at the top of the complex on one occasion, great atmosphere, nice surroundings but must admit preferred the main restaurant.
Staff very friendly, worked very hard but always a smile.
Fantastic beach, I have a heart condition but managed the 91 steps back up, albeit slowly.
Intend going back next year.

Room Tip: Dont be put off by a basic room

“Friendly hotel”

Lovely pool, restaurant and good entertainment for kids. Friendly and courteous staff. Gardens well kept. Access to great beach. Room scruffy despite being a 'superior' one and toilets in public areas need attention. Kiosk expensive. Nice ice-cream included in AI and cocktails too which is unusual. Would go back.

My family and I visited the Adriana beach club resort in September for
a week. The food and drink was all inclusive.

Upon arriving at the hotel we were told that our room would be ready in 20mins that never happened. It took them 1 hour and 30 mins, ok so things happen. Finally we went to our room, which we had 2 of. Ab block which was quite far round so thy took our luggage and us on a golf cart. My first impressions were correct, the hotel was apartment blocks and should be related 3 star
Not 4. The rooms were generally clean and tidy. The decor was appalling and bathrooms need a
Makeover.
The entertainment was bad, other families agreed.
The food was ok, plenty of it but boring and bland
The drinks were all watered down
Ice cream during the day was free,
Which was nice for the kids
The swimming pools were freezing, the indoor pool was ok
The steam and sauna area were old and needed a refurb
The gym was old again, machines never worked
On the positive side the staff were friendly most of them anyway.
The beach is very close and it's super clean. Awesome for the kids
To sum the experience up,
I would not take my family to this resort again, I would deffinetely recommend to try elsewhere. However it's not that bad, if I had to stay here again.
I hope this helps anyone who is thinking of staying here
