My girlfriend and i booked this for her 22nd birthday days before so it was rushed and didnt know what to expect. The location is brilliant, near the beach, bars and some lovely places to eat(cabana). A bottle of champagne was a birthday gift from the hotel was such a nice touch. Modern, clean and very friendly staff. Would go back no doubt.

just wanted to write this and share my experience. This Hotel is modern clean and in ideal location. The Staff could not have been more helpful, helped my daughter who wasnt staying with us, to print off her boarding pass. Always smiling and happy the staff were so nice. Our room faced the front. it was quite small but adequate with feature wooden furnishings. If you are a light sleeper take earplugs as the noise levels at night continue til 4am, bit mostly along the road a bit. There is a lovely bar, which was emply while we were there, but i expect in summer it could be busier. We ate out, and would recommend the breakfast in the little cafe at the bottom of the escalator as it had proper bacon and was only 3euros 50. Hope this helps you decide if this hotel is for you. I would stay again.

Stayed at the Polana twice now....... its location is excellent right in the centre of the old town, just two minutes walk from the beach and fabulous restaurants.
The Polana is spotlessly clean, the rooms are basic but are cleaned everyday with new towels. The rooms look as though they have just been refurbished. Beds are really comfortable. The breakfast is continental so we found it better not to pay for the 6 euros for it and eat out.
The friendliness and warmth of all the staff is second to none. They are so accomodating. As soon as we arrived for our second visit they recognised us! I just can't praise this hotel enough. Yes it has no pool, but there are two beautiful beaches right on its door step. If you are looking for somewhere to stay for a short break the Polana is the one!! I always read the reviews of different hotels and notice how much they differ..... but please please do not hesitate to book the Polana you won't be disappointed. We have already booked again for next years short break.

We only booked this a month before we were going and what a bargain. The hotel was very clean and basic, the rooms cleaned every day and new towels layed out. We had a twin room with a bathroom and a small balcony area looking out to the old town below with bars, restaurants and plenty of small shops for browsing round. The windows kept any late noise out so it wasn't a problem trying to sleep at all.

The location was absolutely fantastic. Straight out of the hotel you find yourself on the typical narrow cobbled streets, to the left just a couple of minutes stroll to the square where there are some fantastic bars, restaurants and street entertainment. To the right another couple of minutes stroll takes you past more restaurants and shops to the beautiful sandy beach.

We didn't need to travel any further, everything we had was right here for a perfect beach holiday and not too expensive to eat and drink out. We can't wait to go back!!!!
