Stayed for a week with my 8 year old son.

Booked directly the lady at the office was very helpful from first email till our final return journey to the airport. She orgainsed our transfers and was a font of information and advice during our stay.

On arrival we were given a choice of apartments.We stayed in large recently modernised two bedroom (both ensuite). The apartment has air conditioner and fan in the living areas. The cleaners came everyday except Sunday and changed the towels upon request. The moden kitchen is well equped but has no oven.

The area is quiet with a choice of restaurants and the beach is only 3 minutes walk away. a veyy pleasant 10 minute walk in either direction takes you to the Strip or the Old Town.

The pictures I saw on the hotel website when I booked in April 2011 do the hotel no justice and I hope they upgrade their website soon. I would definitely stay here again and I have recommended to a couple of friends already.

thought the apts were really clean and well looked after. cristina was always on hand if you needed any information. loved our time there.
we are heading there in a few weeks time and can not wait :)

Elma apartments is located half way between the old town of Albufeira and the strip at Montechoro and is less than five minutes walk to the beach. We stayed in Aug 2009 for two weeks with four kids from 9 years to 2 years and a heavily pregant Mum and had a great holiday. The apartments are basic/rustic but are clean and are in a great location beside the beach. The pool area is well kept and the kids enjoyed swimming there. Christina and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The old town is 1.5km away and the strip is 1.5km away within walking distance or plenty of taxis available, Christina in reception will call for one if asked. Would return to stay there.
