Booked through Colin with arrangements to include transfers which were all ok as planned. Couldn't fault the apartment, clean and spacious with excellent views (room 305). However, when we arrived we found that the bar 101 had shut down and so had no bar or restaurant facilities, which was a disappointment. The pool area was unkept and all of the sun loungers were broken, apart from 2! Often found that the pool access door was locked and so had to leave the front of the building and come into the back entrance. On a few occasions we were questioned as to whether we had a right to be using the pool area. Felt there to be an atmosphere with the portuguese residents of the Elimar, more of a residential than a holiday apartment block. Having said this the sun shone and we had a good holiday.

We have just come back from an extended girly weekend in Albufeira. We can highly recommend the Elimar Apartments. We stayed in a 3 bed 2 bath on the 3rd floor. This was a very modern immaculate apartment with seaview.
It was ideally situated between the old & new town , with a very good shopping area close by.
Although most places are within walking distance, taxis are reasonable & the litte road train, that runs between the Strip & Old Town picks up at the Modelo shoping area.
a very good family restaurant just a short walk away toward the Old Town is Alfredo's.
We would certainly visit again.

We stayed at the Elimar Apartments during August 2008 and found the place absolutely immaculate. Our apartment was 305 and it was superbly spacious with room for at least another 2 guests (there was 4 of us) due to the "hidden room" beside the master bedroom. This is perfect for a family with young children who prefer them to sleep nearer to them while away on holidays. Was met by Colin who provided transport from the airport to the apartment and was ever so helpful with everything though out our stay. 101 bar has a great atmosphere every night and has great amenities.

Apartments are very central with the shopping mall about 2 minutes walk away and lots of restaurants. Even though theres not much need to eat out as the apartments kitchen is very well equipped. Location is also very queit with no traffic noise as its off the main road through Albufeira.

Have re-booked for next year again and can't wait. One other note I have to add is the fab decor that was in the apartment - truly top class modern style with not a floral patterned curtain to be seen!! (See photos I've attached which were sent to me before my arrival).

I stayed in the elimar apts 24 29th august 2008 was met at faro airport by colin for the 25 min transfer to elimar the apart was very clean and comfy in an ideal location 10 mim walk to the strip and 10 mins walk to the old town .
