my friends and I had a lovely stay here. Our original hotel on the Strip was fully booked and they booked us in to another of their chains under Belver. You should have seen my face when I realised we were gonna be moved, not pleased!

My other friends checked in first and was given the usual electronic key card. However, I was not issued with such commodity, they gave us a massive key with a big keyring with the words "Marrakech" engraved into it. At this point I was thinking which room they book us in. When I arrived at the door, I could find the room number and got confused. Standing in front of me was a massive wooden door with the words "Marrakech" written on it. So I tried opening it, lo and behold I only realised that we have been upgraded with the honeymoon suite!! It was a massive suite with a lounge, separate bathroom and toilet, massive balcony and a hot tub! What a surprise!! We made full use of such facilities and celebrated our holiday in the hot tub that night. The room had a splendid view of Albufeira looking towards the east. Unfortunately they had to move us back after 2 nights stay. It would have been better if we got moved half way through our holiday but beggars can't be choosers.

The Old Town was a stone's throw away with all the restaurants/ bars etc.

Only concern I can think of was for the staff to clean the pool regularly as I couldn't smell the chlorine you get from swimming in a public pool.

Had stayed at this Hotel in the past & enjoyed the stay, but this time was different.The Hotel staff do not seem to care about the guests & the Room we stayed in was dirty & on top of a busy main road, which made our stay very uncomfortable, but the staff did not seem to care.
This Hotel is rated at 4*, but I think it does not meet those standards in any aspect.Definately would not go back there again.There are much better Hotels in close proximaty to this one.

Read bad reviews before travelling and were concerned - it was a holiday to celebrate my birthday and our anniversary. Our worries were totally unfounded. Hotel is fabulous, staff were very helpful, efficient and friendly. Room was spacious, well decorated, thoroughly cleaned with white fluffy towels changed every day... and the view from our balcony was out of this world.
Food was good and provided plenty of choice. All the guests we spoke to were of the same opinion and we were really sorry to leave. Would definitely visit this hotel again.

friendly staff and clean rooms. What more do you want?
