My Husband and I stayed in this hotel for one night in Evora on May 29, it was a Saturday. We drove into town in our rental car from the Algarve and had detailed directions, but as we found in every city, the streets are poorly marked BUT there are signs directing you to the RESIDENCIAL RIVIERA all over, so we followed the arrows, and bam--We found it! It's located inside the old town walls, which puts it smack-dab in the middle, great location. It came with a reserved parking space at the end of its pedestrian-only street, very simple. We checked in early, got a tour, and were shown our room. It was a spacious, CLEAN, charming double. The ceilings were original vaulted stone, so much character. The bathroom was CLEAN and fully updated. There was AC, a TV and a stocked mini fridge. Double paned windows looked out onto the bustling shopping street below. The staff was very friendly and recommended a wonderful restaurant for dinner that night. The breakfast was one of the best spreads we had seen in our two weeks around Portugal. We found it to be a wonderful blend of modern amenities and old world charm.
