Residencial Riviera is a very smart choice for your stay in Evora, a beautiful university town with lots of nightly action.

The rooms at Riviera were nice, the bathroom clean, the breakfast tasty, and the location excellent.

The service and reception was perhaps not as warm as I was accustomed to in Portugal, but overall we were satisfied.

The location is excellent, just in the heart of the town. There are some reserved parking places 200m up the hill.

The hotel is clean, though not modern. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious. Breakfast is good.

Overall, just what you need with no specific highs or lows.

If we come to Evora again, we'll be back.

We had taken the bus to Evora and the local public transportation dropped us 50 metres from the front door of the hotel. The rooms were tasteful and very comfortable; we especially enjoyed the beautiful sitting room on our floor. We walked easily to all major attractions in Evora, which is a charming small city.

Historic hotel in the centre of historic Evora with 100 metre walk to Giraldo's Square with its outdoor restaurants, tourist office and shops. Hotel has character, particularly the unusual ceilings and spacious rooms. Be sure to request a quiet room as the quiet day time streets turn into loud party streets at night right through until 4.00 am in the morning. Friendly and helpful management. No lift and number of stairs up to the rooms. Easy walking access to all the sites. Evora a delightful town with its cobbled streets and restaurants hidden in the side streets.
