This is an excellent hotel and great value for money. We travelled by Eurostar in August with our son of 13 months. Check-in was faultless (they were fully booked which is always a good sign) and the room was clean and spacious. They provided a cot for our son for a reasonable charge.

Breakfast was buffet style but with a good range of breads, croissants and cereals. Staff were incredibly helpful with warming bottles for our son at any time of the day or night.

They have a cosy bar area and a great little play room for children.

The hotel is a stone's throw from the beach and within easy walking distance of the shops and restaurants in the town. It's easy to find from the train station (just turn right out of the station and follow the waterway for 10 minutes and turn off on hofstraat).

All in all, a very pleasant stay. We will definitely return.

Travelling with a group of friends and staying one night, we found the staff to be helpful and the Hotel clean, comfortable. Above all great value.

Stayed for 2 nights in March. Hotel welcoming on arrival. Reception, bar and breakfast room all nicely decorated. The bedrooms were adequate for the budget. We had a buffet breakfast which was faultless and included cereal, toast, pastries, eggs and sausage.
Location was ideal to explore the town or walk on the beach front.
Ostend is currently being redeveloped and therefore was some noise and road disturbances. However, I am sure it will look fabulous in the future.

The rooms are very nice and clean with all the facilities needed
Kids are more then welcome, hotel has a nice family atmosphere
Breakfast is nicely done, lots of choice and fresh food and fruits
Walking distance of almost everything!
