My daughter and I went on a spring break roadtrip and ended up in Ostende. We parked in the underground lot in front of the casino and left it for the entire time we were there. The tourist information center is right above the parking, across the street from the casino and they booked us a room at Hotel Serge which was very close by. The staff that we came in contact with were incredibly friendly and obviously loved children. I can't count how many lollipops they gave my daughter. :) The room was clean and comfortable. Toilet and bath were both in suite. The only complaint I have is that the water pressure wasn't great and a little chilly and the floor was contact paper rather than carpet. I didn't notice this until my daughter pointed it out but I imagine it would be pretty hard to get all the sand out if there was carpeting. The breakfast ,which was included, was good - the typical European breakfast of bread, cheese, and meats which we have grown accustomed to. The location was outstanding! I would stay here again.
