Booked through a 3rd party agency, when we arrived, there were also other parties who had booked as we had. and our rooms were giving away, i traveled from wales, others luxembourg, germany france and spain. but those that turned up whilst we were there who had booked direct with alpha had rooms.. what a con and never again.

Very bad service. I sent an e-mail that I would arrrive later that day. On arrival they told me they did not receive my e-mail and they gave away my room. But they could arrange another hotel if I would pay an extra fee. That hotel was in a very bad state with a bar underneath. The day after I was able to stay in Alpha, but when I got there the next morning, they put me in a run down, even worse hotel! And I did not receive the extra rate back from them.

This hotel is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. Not only were they not there when we tried to check in, they did not answer the phone calls (although they had a number to call if they were not in the hotel to let us in after they locked the doors). I finally got let in by a guest at 7am and called them from the reception desk and they said I had to wait until 9am to get into my room. I came back at 9am and they were not even here. When I got ahold of them, they said that I would have to wait another hour. This is supposed to be a holiday, not a crappy adventure to find a place to stay. They refused to refund any money. Plus, the internet only works in the lobby - it doesn't do me any good in my room where I need it most. The rooms are so small, you can barely pull out the chair to the desk (not that you need to use the desk since there is no internet in the rooms). Furthermore, they only provide you with one bath towel (even though we paid for a room with two guests). They said that they wash their own towels so when the maid washes the towels, we might get another one. In the meantime, we will have to share a towel. The several people we have talked to at this hotel have been extremely rude and unhelpful. I sincerely hope that you put some of this in their rating and really tell people how awful of a place this is. There is nothing worthwhile about this place. I am sure I will be locked out again tonight if I do not get back to the room by 8pm. How pathetic!

We made a big mistake to book this hotel for our anniversary weekend but we had little choice as it was a bank holiday weekend in Belgium and everywhere else was full. When we arrived at 6.30pm after booking online - the manager told us that the hotel was overbooked and that somewhere on the website it says that if you arrive later than 6pm your room is given away - but he will do us a favour and phone another hotel to accommodate us. We were livid!!! The "other hotel" turned out to be run down apartments - very dirty and on a building site!! We will never book this hotel again and it goes without saying that you'll be really daft if you do!!!
