I partook in a seminar in this hotel. Staff was friendly and professional, and the food was excellent. The rooms where the sessions took place needed some freshing up, but all in all my impression of the hotel is still stylish.
The rooms were standard size, normally equipped, but the rooms not facing the sea or the casino have a sad view.
All in all a good experience.

The location at the seaside and the Casino is as good as you can get. Meeting rooms have amazing seaside views and the staff is friendly and classy.

All is well until you go opstairs to the rooms: When on the non-renovated floors you'll step out of the elevator right into the 80's... The renovated floors are better but it's obvious that the rooms are not modern at all.

All in all not a bad choice if you don't mind the outdated rooms and if you value the location. Personally I will not go there again though

In October 2011, my wife and I stayed just one night in this very modern but extremely quiet and comfortable hotel, right on the seafront in Oostende, Belgium. Certainly not the cheapest hotel but well worth that little bit extra to have a more special night's stay! A great buffet breakfast, overlooking the beach (even on a blustery morning!), with a really good selection of fare! The rooms were modern, very clean and had absolutely everything that one might have needed for your stay! Great showers, loads of hot water and lovely crisp bed-linen! Just lovely. The staff were very friendly, extremely helpful and spoke excellent English, thank goodness! A really nice hotel!

The Andromeda is not a modern hotel, but still oozes class and comfort. The staff are very polite and helpful, speaking English, Flanders, and French.
The breakfast is absolutely wonderful with hot and cold offerings along with a great self-sevice coffee machine.
There was a super jazz trio in the bar on the weekend I was there along with a not-so-noisy respectful crowd that allowed people to enjoy such top quality music appearing on that night.
It sits right on the beach. The main avenue of the town seems to lead straight to it.
It was a privilege to stay there!
