We've booked a 2 night stay in this hotel via www.dekust.org.
Location was ok.
Parking, cost 13 euro's in an old hangar, all cars had to be squeezed in, parkingskills needed.
Hopefully you received the correct code to open the garage, other call again or walk the whole way back. The code wasn't mentioned at the reception (by the old lady) and for one reason or another you had to give your carkeys to the receptiondesk when you were not driving it ... insurance reason so the old layd said? It didn't seem that they had put the other keys in a safe. So we didn't give our keys, how good would it have looked to report a break-in in your in a private garage with your own keys which the robberies have stolen at the receptiondesk?
Food: breakfast bar ok, only on monday at 9h30 all sandwiches were finished. The very helpfull waitress ran off to the local bakery.
Room: here comes the cosy sleeping:
- silence proof: none, first night someone was running in the room above us, we could hear every step taken.
- views: none, only the small street behind us with the parking spaces from the other hugh hotel (plus for that hotel:a whole lot of parking spaces next to the door)
- bed: 140 cm or less: to small for two adults to sleep in, no possibilities to put in a bigger one because the room was badly organized
on the other hand the toilet and the bathroom were well equiped (separate toilet).
Be sure to check your bill because some site mention a tourist tax, this is the same as a city tax. The old lady at the reception tried to charge it dubble, even if it was mentioned as included on the website www.dekust.org.
Ok for a night. If you want to stay longer, please do not book a 'normal' room, spend a little bit more money for a superior ....
