This was our fourth stay at the Kempinski, and we were upgraded on arrival to a junior suite, which was a nice gesture. The lovely room was on the 5th floor, with three windows overlooking the garden and Bruges beyond. It was big with a huge comfortable bed, sofa and chairs, fridge, espresso machine, desk etc. The bathroom was big with windows onto the room, a bath, separate shower, Molton Brown toiletries and a very useful blue night light. There is an evening turndown service with both water and chocolates - excellent.
We ate dinner in the bar one evening, a burger and a chicken stew vol-au-vent, both very good. We also had good service throughout the hotel, especially from reception. We parked the car in the car park underneath - expensive at €30, but worth it, as parking in Bruges isn't easy.
This is a lovely hotel, well located and with very high standards of service and facilites.

Great Hotel in the heart of Brugge just a few meters away from the “grande place”...The staff was very helpful and gave us good advice. We received an upgrade to a luxery room (108) which seemed to us as a very nice room but not to be "luxurious". The Breakfast was absolutely worth it great choice and good products.

Don’t take the chocolate formula, it is not worth it…

Wow, great hotel in a great city. Great location, walking distance to all the attractions in Bruge including the tower featured in one of my favorite movies, In Bruges. Hotel seems like it was once a castle before being turned into luxury hotel. Room was very spacious and luxurious. Staff was incredibly professional and polite. Great hotel in a fascinating city. Definitely recommend booking.
