We have been to Brugge many times before our children were born but 'rediscovered' it over the May Bank Holiday with two friends.
We have succesfully used TripAdvisor for B&B's for other weekends away but this place was not listed with you and as we had such a great time had to get it on with you.
The house was previously three smaller ones (4yrs ago) it is now set out with three ensuite rooms and a communal lounge/kitchen. All is very clean crisp and modern with no clutter. The finnish is really top notch without any 'snags' evident at all.
It is situated litterally 2 mins walk from the 'convent' and a strole from the main square, but that walk takes in all the sight/tourist places including lots of bistro's/bars and the brewery!
We have stayed in some so called 'chic/modern' hotels but this had all their finish but in a B&B.
Breakfast is served in the modern kitchen and then really the house is left to you. This in my opinion is the real 'winning touch'. After a hard day drinking eating shopping and taking in Brugge to come back and 'crash out' listening to some 'chilled out' music on the stereo set the day up for the evening meal out in Brugge (there are hundreds of places to eat but really unless its for coffee avoid the places on the main square-really over priced and too touristy in our view)
If there is a 'group' of three couples a family or even on your own this really is a great place to have as a base to see all the delights Brugge has to offer.
