B&B Abiente is a wonderful place to stay when visiting Bruges. Right in the city center, yet at a very quiet street. It is conveniently located on walking distance to every hot spot.

Arrival is pleasant, with a nice cup of coffee and tips about the city coming from the lovely Veerle. Abiente is a 2 room B&B, with a comfortable breakfast room and a lounge room in the attic, with a refrigerator, coffee machine, oven and basic kitchen material to share with the guests of the other room.

The room at the front side is nicely designed, with a good bed, flatscreen TV and windows that can be opened. The bathroom is relatively small, but has a bath/shower and a toilet. Everything feels comfortable and cosy.

Parking can be difficult and Bruges is a city where you want to walk and experience the city on foot. At request, Abiente has a single private parking space. When visiting by car, I would certainly use that facility.

In short: I can highly recommend B&B Abiente. It is on a great location and it is a great value for money. Breakfast is wonderful and the owners make sure you feel at home.

Spent three nights there in October while visiting Bruges for my partner's birthday. The place was lovely, very clean and warm. The hostess was helpful, friendly and obliging, offering us guidebooks and free maps to help us make the most of our stay.

Great location, lovely staff, beautiful room and facilities, great breakfast. I cant say enough good things about this place. The nicest B&B I have stayed at and we would return in a heartbeat if we could. Made us so relaxed as soon as we entered. There is nothing bad to say.

As two friends visiting Bruges, we didn't want to stay in a hostel but had a very difficult time finding a hotel or B & B that wasn't extremely expensive. We were so lucky to find Guesthouse Abiente and it was honestly one of the best B & Bs we have ever stayed in. The couple that runs it is friendly, helpful and simply wonderful. The guesthouse itself is really well located in central Bruges, within walking distance of all sights and the train station. The rooms are adorably decorated, extremely comfortable and a joy to stay in. Finally, breakfast was wonderful. So much delicious food! In the process of leaving I happened to leave an item behind. When I emailed inquiring about it, Veerle sent it right off to me and inquired afterward to make sure that I received it. This is the kind of friendly, personal service that truly sets Guesthouse Abiente apart. I will definitely recommend it to all of my family and friends as THE place to stay in Bruges. Book a room now!
