“ideally situated ,good value for money.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 July 2010

We have stayed here twice now ,and it is in a great location near the square with lovely restaurants. Very spacious apartments ,very clean and ideal also for disabled adults. We are staying there again the end of July. Only down side is the very, very, narrow entrance to the car park. It is so tight!! i would definately recommend this hotel.

“very nice hotel...clean...comfortable...friendly....near to the main sq”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 March 2010

stayed here for two nights in march at the Aragon...lovely hotel...hired the executive room....comfortable room... spacey.. ...no tea making facilities in roombut free tea and coffee in lobby area from 2 pm to 4pm..breakfast continental breakfast.which was quite adequate..staff v friendly and helpful..hotel locked about 12pm at night but a very friendly night porter always about..place is spotless...2 min from the market sq which is a focal point..a lot of restaurants in the square but be warned they are expensive for food and drink...much better value can be found close by down the many side streets...most restaurants closed by 1 am with bars open till 1pm (at least some of them.)bruges is a very beautiful city ...check museum prices ,they vary from 2.00 to €10.00 ...The tour bus is a rip off €14.50 for what is not a great tour at all...get your walking shoes and a tourist map...will cost u nothing to see some of the beautiful places of interest...the bus operates from the sq and is yellow in colour (called City Tour)...just not wrth the money for what it is....Beer prices vary from app €4.00 to to €8.00 in some places in the sq...Food likewise...Eat and drink away from the Sq where, much better value is to be had........the canal trip is app €7.00 and lasts 30 minutes...This is quite good...Horse drawn carraige is a lovely way to see some of the city too but costs app €36.00......All in all Bruges is right up there with the nicect cities in Europe..Just be careful what u pay....

“Lovely hotel in Bruges”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 July 2009

Stayed 2 nights at Aragon house. The bedrooms were spacious, and each bedroom had a TV. The master bedroom was air conditioned, and it was powerful enough to cool the whole apartment if all the door were left open. The bathroom was clean and well sized. Breakfast was in the main Aragon Hotel, a minute's walk away, and was a buffet style. Although adequate, the breakfast wasn't anything special. The reception staff were always very welcoming and helpful, and could speak fluent English.

“Excellent value for money”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 April 2009

We stayed in a two bedroomed apartment which was spacious, clean, well equipped and very well located. Breakfast was included in the price which was at Hotel Aragon which was 2 minute walk. Staff at the hotel were friendly and very professional. The main square, shops and restaurants were a five minute walk. The apartments are situated in a quiet street away from the hustle and bustle of the centre. The only downside was that we had 6 people in the apartment and there was only 1 bathroom. This was ok for us staying 2 nights but may be a problem if staying longer. Have already recommended these apartments to two other people since we returned.

“Being apart of Bruges”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 March 2009

This hotel is lovely. It's in a great location, is clean with modern décor. At first it can be a little hard to find so prepare ahead with maps etc! There were a couple of missing road signs in the end so we got a little lost. Almost everyone seems to speak English though so you can always ask for help.

The place is lovely and clean, we picked a standard double room which was tiny ha, it was big enough though because we were in the town for the majority of the time. The other point to note is that all the buildings throughout the town are small and ancient and so the room’s size reflects the buildings which was nice, felt easier to see what a life in Bruges would be like if you lived there.

Bathroom was stylish and modern, were on the top floor however where the roof slopes at one side of the room, this meant you had to bend over a little to have a shower ha! Another point to note is that the double bed is 2 single beds with 2 single duvets pushed together. The beds were really soft too (some people like that, some people don’t).
Breakfast was continental with bread/cheeses/ham and cereals so it was ok, but expected this before I went. It was enough. Staff were very helpful as well, they give you a map and point out the best places to visit and where all the secret restaurants cam be found, off the main streets.

Parking was available at €12 per night, we arrived at 13:00 though and they let us keep it there until 15:00 the next day at no extra cost so were helpful,. Especially since check-in was at 15:00 and check-out was at 11:00!

To sum up, I’d stay here again, it’s clean and great and cheap.
