Difficult to judge this hotel which benefits from a fine location and a friendly staff. I would have given it a high rating for a 3 star hotel...but it's a 4 star! We stayed 2 nights in a junior suite (room 26) - no view at all, low ceiling...completely charmless, at the limit of claustrophia. Soap, toilet paper etc are all of the lowest quality you can buy. The hotel was very poorly decorated - probably in early 90s. The materials used, the colors, everything is cheap looking. Too bad because it sincerely could have made for a truly exceptional place.

Breakfast with its cheap lipton yellow tea bags, cheap butter cups, sad croissants... Etc etc... No really this place doesn't deserve it's rating. Final point: double check your bill upon check out and beware of parking fee!

This hotel takes a bit of finding, despite following both map and street sign. It doesn't exactly look like a hotel from the entrance.

There are few rooms so you might expect a good welcome. But we didn't get one, in fact it was decidedly cold. The room was very clean and modern, but had no view (most don't) and offered little in the way of 'extras' bar the gimmicky jacuzzi bath (the novelty wears off after a few minutes lol).

For the high price I would prefer to be closer to the main sights and like to see more on offer, breakfast included would be a start.

Great City, but you might prefer more for your Euro.

Not knowing much about Brugges, having read many reviews of at least 10 diffrent hotels, I decided to call the hotel to see if they had a room available.
Long story short: called hotel at 20.00 to get a room for the night, got a very good rate for a junior suite ( room 2) and they had no problem accepting our dog (a great dane).
Very friendly reception, all paid at check-in so the check-out only took 10seconds.

Beautiful hotel, amazing room & canal views, within walking distance of everything- loved it!

Only the 16€ parking fee was consideredto be a little too much!

Overall: We will definitely go back!!!

Really nice hotel a couple of minutes walk from the centre. The room was large, clean and well designed. Staff were friendly and helpful.
