I have just stayed one night at this hotel. One night is enough.

On arrival we where met with a cold greeting, whilst (what I can only assume where the staff sat at the bar) drank from 4pm until we left for our evening meal at 8pm. The rooms are small poorly maintained and very poorly lit corridors.

Having said all of that, we had a lovely time in bruges even though very expensive compared to the u.k

We stayed at this hotel 28/10/11 for 2 nights. It was very basic. There was no atmosphere to the place, it was clinical and cold. The staff were polite but the receptionist we saw in the evenings was not at all friendly. The best thing about this place was the breakfast, there was lots of choice and everything was fresh. I would not recommend this hotel and I would not stay there again

I chose this hotel because it came with parking space and was easy to find. The town is in walking distance (20min) and as I have no problems to walk it was OK for me. The walk to town leads you through a quiet neighbourhood with lots of small houses. Looked like a "safe" quarter to me and I had no problems walking there alone at night.
The staff (check in/out) was nice, the room big enough and the bathroom clean. I personally liked that there were no carpets but some wooden (?) floor. Looks much cleaner to me.
TV worked also fine with quite a lot of programs to choose from.
I had a room on the ground floor facing the "big street" (and parking lot). It was quiet and I felt not disturbed by passing traffic.
Breakfast was good and I liked the choices one had (eggs boiled or scrambled; jam, nutella and other sweets; cereals; bred or buns (warm and fresh); cheese and cold meat; coffee, tea; and many more).
All together I would go there again only next time bringing my bike as everybody in belgium seems to cycle :)

This hotel is way too expensive for what it offers. At €115 per night standard rate you may expect a TV that works properly, a bathroom without a mirror coming loose, a clean unstained room.

The wifi on offer is horribly expensive: €5 for 2 hours or €10 for 60 minutes to be consumed over 24 hours. I cannot remember paying more for less. If you then decide to buy wifi access, you're in for a bummer: wifi reception in my room was close to zero - only in the bathroom did I manage to get a signal strong enough.

Reception was not friendly, and breakfast so-so (horrible coffee).

I know that Bruges rates are probably elevated, but at least get some value for your money. Here, there's none to be had.
