A beautiful and tastefully decorated hotel with bags of old world charm, attractive rooms and a homely atmosphere. The breakfasts were excellent. The location of the hotel is ideal, in a quiet back street, and we look forward to our next visit

we enjoyed the city, the restaurants, and the hotel. the room was large and clean, the bed was very comfortable and the temperature and general feel of the room was again exceellent.
the breakfast room is as good as it gets and the food offered is first class, the owners ensure everyone is looked after. i will return and use this hotel again. this trip was planned by my family with great care and attention to detail and they were not let down in any way, a meery xmas to all concerned.

A return trip after more than 10 years. The hotel has retained it's charm and our thanks to the owners for making us so welcome. The rooms are exceptionally large making a welcome change from some of the overpriced shoeboxes in most cities. The breakfast was plentiful and continually refreshed even at the end of service at 10.30. Great to have freshly squeezed orange juice! Hotel is in a convenient location and easy to find by road. Good advantage of secure parking. Well worth the 8 euros per night for peace of mind. Great restaurant 5 minutes walk - In't Nieuw Museum in Hooistraat. Wonderful steaks cooked over charcoal in front of you and wonderful staff.
Negatives - very small TV but hey who needs TV! Extra charge for safe. No tea/coffee making facility in room
I can feel a return trip coming on though!

We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful quaint hotel. The owners made us feel like we were home, the breakfast was wonderful as was the room it was served in. Close to all attractions. We utilized the new Rick Steve's book for restaurants and things to do and were not disappointed. On the down side, there was a charge to use the in room safe, and they did not supply washcloths even though we requested them. For the money it can't be beat!
