We stayed in early December 2011 and found it to be a lovely hotel in a central part of Bruges. This hotel is lovely and clean, the breakfast is excellent and the staff were very welcoming.
We stayed in a maids room, a small bedroom, but lovely sized bathroom with a fantastic shower! Lovely and warm rooms, fantastic given the wintry temperature. The hotel is lovely and traditional and was gorgeous for christmas with all the fairy lights.
In a great location, a short walk into the main square with lots of restaurants and bars nearby - felt more residential than touristy which was lovely.
Would recommend and return.

We stayed in the maids room (15) ... You walk into the hotel to be met by really friendly staff and an open fire ... The lift was a bit smelly and slow but it does the job if you don't like stairs ... The room was small but clean ... Really good shower ... The wifi in the hotel is free and an excellent service ... Breakfast is between 8-10:30am and was nice ... The hotel garden looked nice but we didnt go out as its -10 here ... The hotel has a nice bar area again with an open fire ... The local is great you are less than 5 mins walk to the belfry and all the shops and resturant's

Simply fantastic. Perfect hotel for any sort of traveller, and their "romantic" package was brilliant - not only breakfast in bed, champagne, bathrobes but also city tour, brewery tour and chocolate museum all included. Great room with original wooden beams - full of character. Great location, friendly staff, very clean. Would definitely go back.

I stayed with here with my girlfriend from the 31/10 - 3/11/2011. I booked directly through their website and they were extremely helpful after my bank initially declined the payment (A person using their credit card to pay for a hotel abroad? Must be fraudulent! I hate banks) as they held the room and emailed me to let me know what had happened.

After that initial scare, upon arriving everything was plain sailing. I stayed in one of the 'Knights' room and had paid extra for the arrival package that contains chocolate, champagne, flowers, dressing gowns etc as the whole trip was a surprise for my girlfriend's thirtieth and this was ready for arrival and worth the price I paid. The room was a nice size (not massive but not small either) and the bathroom was also very big. The room had a mini bar and a tv (that picks up UK channels) and enough storage space for a couples clothes.

The breakfast was a buffet style affair with plenty of choice and was tasty enough. As for the building itself, it's a lovely looking house, approximately a fifteen minute walk from the train station and less than five minutes to the market square. Didn't get to use the courtyard as we were mainly out and about but that also looked to be a nice area to relax in.
