“Simply perfect”

Possibly there are no bad hotels in Bruges - it is touched by magic. But the Adornes has been our cozy resting place for at least 5 visits. We chose it by chance and never had a reason to change. The sparkling cleanliness of the rooms, the simple design, the use of natural light, the view from the windows (that open) overlooking the canal -- delightful. The breakfast buffet is ample, the presentation charming. The tone throughout - at reception, upstairs in the hallways, breakfast room -- is one of calm and good cheer. Natalie was especially helpful with my back and forth questions before our 1st visit. Easily walkable to the bustling center but situated on a quiet street away from traffic and noise. (Ask if they still lend bicycles for guest use.)

Room Tip: Get a room facing the canal!

“If this is Europe why is room so large!”

Stayed 3 nights as part of a ETBD tour. Excellent staff and very helpful at all times. Room was very large and because of this we thought might have been given the wrong room but we kept it a secret. Room had double bed and sofa. Breakfast was in a quaint room and was excellent. Hotel is in nice quiet location. Bicycles are available for use, just check with the front desk. Computer available under the stairs for use free of charge.

We had a lovely stay at the Adornes, great location as it's just a short walk to the main square. Free parking is a real plus.

“Excellent Staff”

We did not actually stay at the hotel - but we had a wonderful experience with the owner that made me want to! My friend and I were traveling through Brugge over Christmas. On Christmas eve we had taken a walk down by the canals and ended up looking in the window of this hotel. Next thing we new the owner had opened the door and brought us inside. He gave us a bunch of recommendations for things that would be open Christmas day in Brugge and for things we should do the rest of our stay. He even gave us tips for places we were traveling in the future. He really went out of his way to give us information, considering we were not even paying customers. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, if you are lucky enough to stay there.

“Superb small hotel”

Absolutely spot on - great location in Bruges, brilliant staff, wonderful large room, and parking.

We arrived frazzled after a three hour drive from Germany and were immediately put at our ease by the friendly owner on the desk and by the lumbering hotel dog! The lady was brilliant - gave us maps, a walking route, recommendations on where to eat. Everything we needed to make the most of our single afternoon in the amazing city.

The room was large and offered a stunning view over a canal and onto more period houses. This corner of Bruges is quieter than some and still only a very short stroll into the centre. Loved the room, loved the hotel and loved the city.

Room Tip: We had room 17 - huge, lovely period features, incredibly comfy beds.
