We stayed here for 3 nights in December. Booked a large double room plus a cot. Have stayed here once before and as previously the staff were excellent - really friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The rooms have been re-done since our last stay and are really fresh and modern. Our room was quite big for european standards, the bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was spotlessly clean and the cot was the nicest we have had at a hotel with a proper mattress and fresh bedding. Our room was number 16 and overlooked the front of the hotel and the canal. The room had beautiful beams as were in what I would describe as the attic room. Its slightly noisy but not enough to disturb us and the view....including the view of the Belfort....was beautiful! We stayed at the side of the hotel previously which was quieter so if you are a light sleeper ask for a side or rear room. Breakfast was a continental buffet and was delicious. We had our 1 year old with us and the staff could not have been more helpful or thoughtful, they were all fantastic! We were allowed to use their fridge to store baby food and microwave to warm our baby food and the breakfast room and highchair etc at any time of day. We were told to treat the place like home and thats exactly what it felt like. We used the basement lounge to relax in which has a large comfortable sofa, fire, table and chairs, games and tv. You can get a bar service too but we didnt use it. The hotel has free secure parking only a short stroll away and free use of bikes, even bikes with child seats on. The Markt is a short walk away of about 10 mins past a few wine bars and restaurants. Its a scenic walk. We will return to Brugge again and I will, without doubt, stay at this hotel every time. The hotel and staff are faultless. I dont think you will regret staying here. Thank you very much for looking after is Adornes!
