We stayed here over bank holiday weekend, and although it wasn't first choice (the small central hotels fill up quickly!) it worked well.
We booked a standard room, and found it to be clean and comfortable with a view of the Belfort. It was on the second floor of the hotel and a good size for two, although bathroom was a little cramped. Some fixtures and fittings on the tired side, but perfectly fine to use - and the bed was very comfortable. Everything you need including a small wardrobe, armchair, reading lamps and sachets of shampoo etc. A shared hairdryer (better than the usual fitted ones in more expensive hotels!) was available on each floor.
Good breakfast although the boiled eggs are microwaved... plenty to choose from however and available till mid-morning.
Beautiful and historic house on a pretty and very tranquil street, seconds from a picturesque canal bridge for that first sense of Bruges and only five minutes from the Markt and Burg squares.
Finally, excellent welcome from the host who very kindly allowed us to leave our luggage all day after we checked out! Many thanks.
