“We just keep coming back!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 November 2011

We love this B&B! Koen and Annemie are the perfect hosts and have always made us feel very welcome. We have stayed at this B&B for at least 5 times over the past 10 years. The location is ideal for exploring Bruges and the house is tastefully decorated with antiques and an array of interesting art work. Breakfasts are a social affair - around a large table which is always fun, talking to other visitors. The breakfasts are always good - muesli, juice, fresh tea and coffee, yoghurts and breads and cheese and meats. There is even little chocolate bars for the chocoholics like me!
The rooms are tasteful with wooden floors and ceilings and a good size but not suitable for anyone who can't climb stairs.

Room Tip: The rooms at the back are quiet (although its not on a busy street!) and have a lovely view of their...

“Charming”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 November 2011

The B&B was like its hosts, charming. Located close to the centre of Brugge this old home has been renovated into a comfortable, welcoming guest house. Our room, on the top floor, was large and comfortable with plenty of room to spread out our travelling gear. The bathroom was a good size and like the bedroom, clean. We were just a few minutes walk from most of the main tourist sites and numerous restaurants and cafes. Our hosts were helpful and provided tips on what to see and the best way to get to several sites.

“wonderful place, people”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 October 2011

I was here for three days in late September, and loved both Bruges and this B&B. The hosts were very helpful, and the proximity to the Markt Square and other areas of interest was great. You do need to be good on older stairs--the spiral staircase is great, but you have to go up two floors to get to your room.
And the rooms were well appointed, the views great, and breakfasts were plentiful.
I'd go back in a heartbeat.
I also loved Bruges, and getting off the beaten track. Loved the frites, waffles, and concert from the bell tower.
great value for the price, too.

Room Tip: Rooms C and H look out on the street; don't know the view in A or B

“Lovely guesthouse!”

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. I loved the decor, the many personal objects and great artwork they had. It was a great atmosphere. And the view from my room was picturesque.

The hosts were friendly with good recommendations, and breakfast was enjoyable. Not sure where they got their croissants, but they were very good.

The only issue to note is the tall stairs, due to higher ceilings (which makes the rooms prettier, of course). They don't have staff to help you with your bags, so just be prepared, if you are a heavy packer.

“Wonderful B&B”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 August 2011

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this B&B. We stayed in the triple which was very spacious! Everything has been beautifully decorated with antiques. I think the cost is an incredible value for what you are getting. Our room overlooked the backyard and it was wonderful to be able to leave the window open and hear the church bells. One of the best features in the house is the old spiral staircase but it pretty much impossible to stay here if you have mobility issues. It also makes luggage a bit of a challenge, but it is worth the struggle! There is a great communal breakfast on the bottom floor with lots of meat, cheese, bread and pastries, yoghurt, juice, tea, coffee. The location is also superb! It is just a couple minute walk to the main square and is also an easy taxi ride to the train station.
