Me and my boyfriend were travelling Europe last summer and decided one of our must stop destinations had to be Bruges, after loving the film "In Bruges" with Colin Farell in it.
The Hostel is in a great location, only a short walk from the main market square filled with restaurants and the bell tower etc. The hostel also provides day and nightly activites. We signed up for the "In Bruges" tour around the city and our guide, Harry, was excellent. We were the only two on the tour that day so he gave us extra information on the city itself, and coupons for local restaurants and even took us to his friend's pub for a beer! A really great guy. On the subject of beer, we also went to the beer tasting in the hostel, which was a great night! And the pub joint to the hostel was cheap and staff were very friendly and welcoming!!
We stayed in a private room in the more modernised end of the hostel. It fitted our needs perfectly, although the only negative i would say it had tea/coffee making facilities but no milk. But this didn't matter as your breakfast is included in the price. After travelling for a month i can say this was the best hostel we stayed at. Will return again in the future i'm sure!
