We stayed here in September for one night and really regret it.
I read other tripadvisor reviews about the smell and hoped (mistakenly) that the problem would have been fixed, however our room and all of the hallways were filled with an unpleasant smell.
Aside from this, the rooms were VERY basic, haven't been refurbished or even cosmetically maintained in a long time and the bathroom felt like a hostel bathroom. It was small, awkardly designed and the shower was very cramped with plastic doors that didn't close properly, so we ended up with a flooded bathroom floor after showering.
We booked through lastminute.com and our booking showed that the room included wifi, however upon requesting it on check-in, we were told we'd have to pay for it.
In spite of the 2 star quality of the hotel, the location is excellent - it is less than ten minutes walk to the Markt Square and we didn't have any problems with noise, however our room was facing towards Markt Square and not towards the nightclubs on the main street below.
Buffet breakfast was standard, however we waited for 20 minutes before the hot food was replenished. Overall disappointing. This hotel may once have been 4 star quality however now I think it is two, at most three stars however I've stayed in better three star hotels.
Not recommended.
Room Tip: If you decide to stay here, ask for a room facing back towards the Markt Square (south) as they'...
