A very nice place to stay in this tourist town ! Tastefully decorated, nothing is missing and every one of the staff was so nice and helpful! The breakfast is generous and delicious. A must to try is the high –tea in the afternoon !

It was in fact an absolutely amazing experience and we have been talking about it since we came back! We are already planning to go again this year and this time for even longer!

The proof of a good hotel is when you get home to rave about it to friends and then book again!

booked a weekend Friday 3rd to Sunday 5th for our 1 year wedding anniversary. young girl on reception lovely. Brought to our room, which was back out to the entrance hall, and it was off that. Room beautifully decorated, but its location awful. Could hear every person walking in and out of the hotel, large groups arrived at 11 pm pulling suitcases, behind them, it was so noisy and uncomfortable. Could also hear people smoking outside the room. We asked to be moved room and would pay any difference but hotel full and receptionist asked us what did we expect...it was because we booked the "Gate Room' . Nowhere on the website does it explain its location. I have no doubt that the other rooms were nicer, I feel this is just a money grabbing chance. Receptionist very rude , said she would speak to her manager, but never got the chance all weekend! A carpet was placed in the entrance muffling the sound slightly, but we had to endured smokers and guests leaving on sunday morning. Felt cheated, very unsatisfactory.

Charming hotel beside a canal, lovely features, wonderful helpful attentive staff, nothing was too much trouble! A bit expensive, but worth it

This place is just superb - enormous breakfasts with fresh bread, fruits, cooked to order hot food, champagne and strawberries - all you can eat to set you up for the day!

We had a wonderful suite overlooking the canal at the back of the hotel with a gas log fire which added to the Christmas theme. Afternoon tea in front of a log fire, dinner reservations organised, taxis to and from - all was extremely well organised throughout our stay and the Christmas decor throughout added the final sparkle to our trip.

Just a wonderful place to stay and soak up the atmosphere of Bruge at Christmas.
