“Great stay and a parrot to boot.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 January 2012

I stayed at the Best Western Premier Acacia for 3 days just after the Christmas/New Year rush and had a great time there. The staff were warm and welcoming and a good information source for assistance on all of the local sites. There is a parrot in the lobby area which welcomes customers as they register their details. The rooms were spacious and well appointed. There were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room, although there was a tea room on the ground floor, all of which was gratis. There is a good, free WiFi network in the hotel. Breakfast was fine.

“Comfortable hotel at great location”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 January 2012

We booked the hotel for one night only at the reasonable price of € 88. Our room was on the first floor and quite spacey. Everything was clean and the bathroom had a bath as well as a shower. The only minus was the bed, which was a bit soft and the lumpy pillows. The staff was friendly. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel, but there were plenty possibilities, one of them near the Silverbank parking. The location is great, a few minutes walk from the "Markt" and other touristic sites. You can park your car at the hotel, but you have to remove your car at 11:00 o'clock on departure day. So we choose the nearby Silverbank parking, which was cheaper and where you can leave your car the entire day. In spite of a few minus points we would definitely book this hotel again when visiting Bruges again, because of the great location.

“Perfect for a weekend trip”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 January 2012

The company Christmas Getaway took us to Bruges. Having been there before in the summer we knew we had to have a hotel near the market square. This hotel is perfect. Less than 5 minute walk to the square. Parking in Bruges is a nightmare and so prebooked a parking space in the underground parking below the hotel. The rooms were standard for this type of hotel. The breakfast was excellent and catered for all nationalities. This hotel only serves breakfast but there are many restaurants in Bruges to choose from. The staff were pleasant and the bar welcoming. The best part of the hotel is the resident parrot. He is wonderful and very entertaining. Would certainly return there!

Room Tip: The twin room was on 2 floors with a sitting room down and bedroom, bathroom up.

We were on a run down to the nurburgring and had a mech failure ! so we pulled into Bruges, did a quick 'booking.com' thing and grabbed a room in the Acacia.

Good location
Hotel parking
a bed for the night, but that's about as far as it goes !
stayed in a dodgy and very basic two story room !
breakfast was average.
way over priced and rated, I've posted reviews for 2 star places that are far better..
we did have a good night in Bruges though, away from the hotel !

“Its a standard city centre 4* hotel. Perfect position.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 September 2011 via mobile

The room was small, but clean and everything worked. Had BBC and ITV for when the wife is getting ready. It was a little expensive, but that is due to the exchange rate. Failed to make it to breakfast. Only drawbacks, chechout is at 11 not noon as normal. The hotel is a bit dark inside, needs better lighting.
