My husband and I were in Brugge last weekend with our 3-year old & we stayed in this hotel for a night. Very convenient location - right next to the central station, just opposite a big car park (where you pay only Euro 2.50 for 24 hours & get a free ride on a bus to the centre) and within a 5-10 minute walk of all the major tourist attractions.
The rooms are quite spacious - ours had a bunk bed for the lil one (she was very excited about it) and the bunk bed doesnt take away from the space at all. Rooms are clean & well maintained with a kind of scandinavian design - simple & functional! Bathrooms are open plan - in the bedroom itself - very clever design, but not for you if you are not travelling with close family or friend! There are no latches on the toilet door or the shower cubicle(this is glass and fairly see through! We of course didnt mind, but privacy can be an issue.
The longe area resembles a well kept modern hostel, but has everything you need. And the breakfast area is great too - breakfast is an extra charge Euro 7 per person, but well worth it - substantial continental spread, no hot items. Front office staff are very helpful too!
All in all, excellent value for money in a town where everything is very expensive. But Brugge is definitely worth a visit & if you dont feel like splurging on accomodation then this hotel is definitely one to stay in!
