We visited Ghent i on our way back from Brugges and the belgian coast and after spending the day in Ghent decided to spend the night. We got to the hotel quite late , the staff was cheerful and helpful and found a room to fit our needs. It was a beautiful room , on the ground floor overlooking the canal, clean, nice comfortable and clean beds, nice bathroom with a steam shower, very nice after a full day of touring and walking. The hotel was quiet and clean. Our rate (which was very reasonable for that caliber of hotel) included breakfast . Nice variety of breakfast foods ,european buffet style. The location was perfect , as it turned out the next day was the light festival and the hotel was on the route, again perfect location. we had such a great time that we went back after the light show for another night stay rather than taking the train back to Brussels. This time my daughter was with us and we needed 2 rooms. Again , great service, friendly, accomodating. She also loved her stay. Would definitely stay again and recommend to friends when visiting Ghent. (another great feature of this hotel , the windows open)
