Family stayed here for four nights recently. Hotel spotlessly clean. As hotel was former house there are only 8 rooms, which are massive for hotel sizes. All have ensuite bathrooms and one of ours was as big as the bedroom. Perhaps request rooms at back of hotel overlooking River Meuse and railway line on opposite side of river! Not a major problem, carriages only four long and stop at reasonable time at night. Fabulous detail given in rooms, minibar and even bowl of sweets which were replaced each day! Owner, Giselle, very friendly and speaks English. Nothing too much trouble and always happy to help. Breakfasts fantastic and beautifully presented - fresh fruit salads, ham/cheese, fresh rolls and pastries, eggs, jams, fruit juice, coffee etc. Hotel, situated on main road into Namur, but set back and not a problem quietens at night time.
Definitely would stay here again. Ideal for touring the region as situated at crossroads point in Belgium. Although hotel does not cater for evening meals there are fantastic local restaurants close by. Also, there is no bar to speak of at the hotel, although the owner happy to pour drinks if you require and open till 11p.m.
Stay here and you will return!
