It was the second time, after years, that we stayed a night at the Villa Gracia. Lovely room, nice service, great view over the Meuse. And the breakfast is out of this world. It's a small gem, a bit hidden, and close to the little village of Provondeville i(hope I write the name correct). From the hotel it's a fiftien/twenty minutes walk to this village, with a couple of excellent restaurants and a lovely village-bar with terrace, opposite a beautiful little church.
Beside of touring with your car along the Meuse, in the direction of Dinant, there is a beautiful walking/biking boulevard along the river that passes the village. Also with some nice terraces and a Indian restaurant annex theehouse and icecream parlor (!). All with exceptional views over the water.
The lady of the hotel gave perfect tips about the neigbourhood and every evening it was a pleasure coming back in the spacious, clean room, with very comfortable beds, a great, strong, shower and always some sweets on the table.
We will be back if where in the neighbourhood again!
