As all other reviews have said, it is remarkably convenient, being just across the road from the station (which was handy for us as it was snowing when we arrived), close to the bus station and the tourist office, and only five to ten minutes walk or so from the town centre - and the area around is (or was on cold December evenings) livelier than the town centre.
Our room was not that large but perfectly adequate, and the king sized bed very comfortable. Although our room overlooked the side/main street junction, the double glazing cut out all sounds (and to comment on a previous reviewers complaint of it being cold, although our radiators were turned off when we arrived, it took less than half an hour for the room to be hot enough to turn one rad off!). The breakfast is good, although one word of advice - if you want the hot selection (bacon and scrambled egg), then get there early. We stayed four nights, and on two of them turned up for breakfast a little before nine and on both occasions the fried bacon (which was good) had gone, and on one the scrambled egg had also been had. Presumably these two hot items are not replaced when gone, unlike the rest which are. Nevertheless, it was a good selection. The other minor point is that although the rooms (or at least our room) was non-smoking, the corridor outside often smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, and I can only assume the cleaners/room staff smoke in the corridors as it was too strong a smell for it to be someone just passing along to the lift.
Despite the two minor points, I would certainly stay there again if visiting Namur.
