Very disappointing meal served late with no staff in attendance at breakfast. Rooms very basic with no personal touches. Didn't enjoy it at all

+ : The staff was friendly, the room was clean and the breakfast was good. The Wifi is now free.
- : The room was tiny, so was the bed. We had a room on the road side, which was pretty noisy despite the shutter. The restaurant was ok but not exceptional, the wine accompanying the menu was awful. The location is not convenient for tourists.

We had booked for two nights but as soon as we got there changed it to one.. The Lady we believe was the daughter acted as if it was all to much trouble to have us there.. She never smiled and it was as if every thing was to much trouble...The evening meal which cost over £100.00 was served by the daughter who was still wearing the same jeans etc that she had done in the afternoon..this was "fine dinning" I think not...Her attitude stank..
The hotel is opposite a sand or gravel mine...there are no views.... Once in the hotel, unless you get a taxi.. or drive you are stuck...it is near nothing... O yes and there was a sign that the hotel closes at 11.00pm at night... so you must be tucked up in bed by then..
...you also if in the new block had to walk outside from the reception to get to your room as they lock the inner doors as you have to walk through the restaurant...
We will not be back.. infact we telephoned the Best Western Hotel Navarra (we had stayed there before) in Brugge which was fantastic, worth the drive for our second night.

At arrival at 21 hours, I was informed (by the not very friendly wife of the owner) that the hotel closes at 23 hours every day (and impossible to get in after that!), so the "long" night in Namur was reduced to 1 hour quick run in the city. The "de luxe" room is not luxuoury at all, the television is of the same quality (and installation) as you find in an average hospital. The rooms are rather noisy.
We had a view on the parking at the back of the building (the front isn't any better, as it lies on the very busy street) and we were woken up by other visitors leaving early. The breakfast was correct, and that was about the only positive element. Never say never, but I hope never to go there again.
