Tuck away below the Ardennes hills outside Dinant, this is a large hotel that clearly depends heavily on coach tours. There were 2 or 3 the night we stayed. The rooms are large and the breakfast excellent. A very good indoor swimming pool which we had to ourselves. The restaurant is airy but a strange shape. the food was rather ordinary.

The hotel is set a few kilometres south of Dinant and is accessed along a lovely forested back road following the Lesse River. It is set on magnificent grounds with a wide array of facilities for guest use including basketball courts, peaceful gardens and lawns, walking tracks and an excellent minigolf course (which we made use of). Hotel staff were prompt and efficient.
The room is comfortable and spacious and simply furnished. Room 52 was on the ground floor of a new wing and alas had no view at all as it opened onto a courtyard and the main building. This detracted from the room a bit. The bathroom had a bath but facilities are limited. There was no coffee pot in the room but they did offer free bottled water in the minibar.
There was a lovely lounge where you could enjoy a drink and light snack. The breakfast room was in an airy hall but lacked ambience. The breakfast spread was not the best. The hot breakfast was lukewarm at best and the staff took awhile to organise everything. They also seemed to limit the buffet according to demand (on our second morning there was a conference group staying and the buffet spread was larger than the day before).

We stayed one night in the Hotel for a weekend getaway in Dinant. The hotel rooms was newish and very modern even a little funky!
The hotel property is some distance from Dinant town itself and in a remote secluded area with lovely settings. Nothing else around the place so you have to eat in which we did and found the food to be OK. English is always a little difficult in the French speaking part of Belgium in contrast to Dutch speaking area where we live but you usually find someone that can speak or interpret the menu.
It was a pleasant stay and we experienced no difficulties and the section we stayed in was all quite new or recently renovated.
Dinant is worth a visit to see the citadel or take a cruise on the river.

The hotel has been recently (ongoing?) renovated. Though some of the room fixtures look as though they are needing to be finished it was a pleasant place to stay. It is situated a little outside the town in peaceful woodlands.

The restaurant was reasonbly priced and the food was of a good quality. Breakfast was fine though if you were eating later your choice could be limited.

Has conference facilities which can make the bar a little busy.

Does have draught Leffe beer.
