Easy public overnight parking, convenient to but away from major roads, pleasant relaxing bar area to unwind after long drive, all in all good for an overnight stop during long journey.
Not a quaint old establishment but a modern purpose built facility

The Ibis hotel in Dinant is situated on the riverside in Dinant, 10-15 minutes walk from the train station. The bar (where breakfast is served) faces the river and has a fairly large sundeck right on the riverside. On a sunny summer morning, it's a really nice place to enjoy the breakfast. The hotel is within easy walking distance of the town centre (around 5 minutes), where there are shops and restaurants.

The staff are friendly and helpful and check-in was efficient. The rooms are, similar to other Ibis hotels where I have stayed, quite minimalistic. Essentially, you have a bed, a TV and a bathroom with shower and that's it. However, if you are using it as a base to explore Dinant, this is really all that you need. The rooms and guest areas are neat and clean.

The breakfast buffet was surprisingly well stocked for a budget hotel and very enjoyable.

Very good. Good service, nice room; all very generic but well done all the same. Breakfast was plentiful but overpriced at c. €13pp. The location was great though and the view from the sundeck was a great advantage.

Dinant is a perfect destinantion for short (weekend) trip. And Ibis is a very good place to sleep in.
The building itself is located on the bank of the river (nice view), in a walking distance from the centre.
Our room was perfectly clean, quiet. Big enough for a couple. If you have a chance, ask for a room with view on the river.
Breakfast room was very light, with nice terrace. Food and service pleasent.
The overall impression was more than positive.
