This is a nice clean friendly hotel set in a small street only about 100m from the main central area so the location is very convenient.
The immediate surroundings of the hotel are a bit dismal and the nearby (300m) Jonfosse station pretty grim. However, inside the place is clean and newly decorated in a rather smart Scandinavian style and the reception and staff efficient and friendly. Our room was on the 4th floor with a balcony and so probably smaller than some others but it was big enough. The bathroom was fine if a little snug. A nice touch was the giftpack of good quality olive oil soaps, better than the slivers you get in chain hotels. One problem with the room being at roof level was that it was especially hot an a hot day, though alleviated by the possibility to have the balcony doors open.
As Liege is a lively city the noise from the street in the small hours could be disturbing when the windows were open but I imagine that the double glazing would sort that out when closed.
Breakfasts were cold but with plenty of choice and reasonable at 6€50.

Welcoming, family-friendly environment, spacious rooms, all essentials required for every-day use availbale, strategical location at the heart of the city, forthcoming receptionists, good service, would recommend it for a single traveller or a small family.
some negative points however: situated on a conjested street, no parking oppurtunities unless you want to avail yourself of a nearby parking at not very reasonable rates, the hotel staff is friendly, but not sufficient knowledge of English.
