I stayed at this hotel in early December having arrived as part of a coach party on board Leger (L8GER) en route to our Christmas Markets Tour.
The hotel is situated almost centrally in Liege and it is only a short walk down the road to the town square and main shopping areas.
The hotel does look look particularly luxurious on the outside but then it isnt meant to be.
It is quite simply a city centre hotel which provides a warm welcome and a comfortable stay and in this respect, it does it very well.
The hotel features a bar/dining area,a small office/business centre and conference rooms which double as breakfast dining area.
The rooms are designated non smoking though there may be some smoking rooms as i am not sure of the laws in Belgium relating to smoking indoors.
Our room was on the fourth floor. It was well equipped with a double bed,a sofa which doubled as a bed/settee if required,a table and chairs, flat screen tv and coffee/tea making facilities with the typical mini bar.
In some reviews there is a mention of the hotel being refurbished and i suspect that my room had been recently fre carpeted and redecorated.
The bathroom was nicely tiled, clean and with the all important great shower with high flow and plenty of hot water.
Breakfast-again a good selection of hot foods, cereals, fruits, yoghurts etc etc.
All staff efficient and friendly.
Really all very acceptable and no complaints.
Dont expect stunning views as it is,after all,in the city centre.
We didnt eat evening meals in the hotel but were very fortunate to find the small restaurant/bar "Au Point de View" which is about 10 minutes walk after turning left outside the hotel. Separate review to follow.
Pcs are of actual room pics.
