Stayed here for 2 days, for a business seminar. This trendy design hotel is situated in the city center of Tongeren. Rooms are very well designed & very spacious

Stayed at this hotel during a seminar. Loved the design combined with ancient accents. Shared the room which was really no problem. However want to come back to visit it private with my husband.

The staff was very nice and well informed about our seminar.

We ate in a very good restaurant outside the centre, a châteaux with excellent service.

I travel a lot. Most of the time I find myself wondering what happened with the hotel sector. On the one hand I find muself in a dull looking, old fashion hotel with friendly employees, or i Find myself in a trendy hotel with arrogant, unfriendly employees. This hotel has best of both worlds. I will be back!!!!!!

The ideas behind the design hotel were very good but often poorly executed. The open bathroom (with one bar of soap for sink and shower both, even in a double room) idea is quite novel but does indeed make it difficult to share the bedroom. The rooms need a slight makeover already with chipped paint in the bathrooms and the narrow cupboard next to the bed opening into the room blocking the bathroom passage.

The cleanliness leaves something to be desired, I plugged in my mobile phone underneath the nightstand and was horrified by the dust and spider webs. The toilet is black and whoever took that decision was wrong in thinking that you could not see dirt as easily as on white.

The room size disappoints after walking down the wide and light hallways and the layout of the room does not make the best use of the space.

We booked an 'arrangement' which included breakfast, entrance to the Roman museum (which was a very pleasant surprise! Well worth a visit!) and a city map. The city map turned out to be an A4 black and white photocopy of a tourist map which you can find in the free tourist guides all over the city :-)

On to the positive points: great rain shower and constant water temperature which is often a problem in hotels, I find. Breakfast is fairly complete and the breakfast room has a good view. Staff is friendly and multilingual.

This is a hotel that lets you pay for what they aspire to be rather than for what they are. I would go back there if they knocked EUR 20 off the price and if I had to travel alone for no longer than 2 nights.
