Arrived at the Chateau Saint Jean, was greeted by a kind, French-only speaking man who checked me in (very authentic French Belgium area). Was shown to my room - was a very clean, nice room with canopy bed, overlooking the back gardens. Bathroom was also clean. Funny experience though - if you sit on the toilet, you have to keep your body swiveled to the left because the bathtub is right in front of the toilet - so no room for your legs (I did not mind this - kind of gave it a funny charm). It felt like the place was empty, it was so quiet. Breakfast in the morning was absolutely wonderful. I would simply come again for the breakfast!! Fresh hot croissants, different kinds of breads, jams, tea... delicious. One thing that should be noted - the price that was listed on the Internet, stated that it included breakfast, however, the staff stated that it did not include breakfast (which was an additional 20€). They stated that they forgot to change their prices on the Internet from their Summertime/August prices to September prices. I personally, feel they should have honored what was quoted on the Internet.
