The Dominican is a cut above the rest. The hotel is well located - approx 15 mins drive from Brussels Midi (international) Station, and 5 min walk from Brussels Centraal Station. The reception\lobby area is very grand, with tall glass screening between the bar, and restaurant. iPads are available for use in the reception area.

The rooms are exceedingly comfortable, the beds are amazing! Great rainwater shower with excellent fittings including a marble sink, nespresso coffee machine and 30" plasma television. On every floor there is a shoe polish /shiner machine and an ice machine.

I was staying here on business and entertained a number of people in the Cloisters area Of the bar. The staff were wonderfully attentive yet not imposing and drinks were fantastic.

The gym was a welcome relax area, with sauna, steam room and a small, but sufficient, range of equipment.

Final point is that the food served in the restaurant is fabulous and service is brilliant. Staff make the effort to go the 'extra mile' to make your stay as good as it can be.

Highly recommended hotel in a very convenient location. The price is high but you definitely get what you pay for with The Dominican.

I usually stay in another hotel in Brussels, but they hiked their rates up astronomically for the recent summit so I stayed here. I was very pleased with this and will stay here in future. The bar area is very comfortable. The gym is fine, albeit small. The room was very comfortable. There are loads of good restaurants in the immediate vicinty along with places for a quick breakfast. The Metro is around the corner, and the Grand Place a quick walk away. Service was perfect.

Stayed at the Dominican for four nights in January 2012 and thought it was very nice. The staff were helpful and the rooms very comfortable.

The location in particular is very good, just a short walk to the Grand-Place and central Brussels.

I stayed here recently and the hotel is great, in an amazing location and modern.

However the halls smell like sweat and the housekeeping leaves a big to be desired. I didn't feel that the rooms were dirty, but felt that during my stay my room was never cleaned, only my bed was made. There was dust on every surface and the bath was left dirty. The situation was not bad enough to avoid this hotel, but it was a but annoying considering the rates.

The staff was super pleasant though so don't let this deter you, plus the location is really amazing.
