When making our booking for this hotel, the proprietor went to great lengths to explain what beautiful fixtures and fittings he's just acquired for his hotel during a trip Bali. It's a shame the money spent on his trip to find exotic fittings could not have been spent on heating our room and bathroom on a cold night, providing enough bedding, or buying fresh food for breakfast (what we got were pre-packaged stale croissants) . We stayed for two nights - that was a mistake.

I was on a combined bussines/pleasure trip in Brussels. I had to choose a cheap hotel in Brussels.
The Lambeau was really cheap. On the web page it has a three star sign but I suppose it's really a two star hotel. The hotel is a small hotel. The room was ok but just as you can expect of a two star hotel. Everything seemed clean. Basically I was in the room only to sleep so it was everything I needed.
The staff was really friendly. The best thing about the hotel is that the underground station is just in front of the hotel.
If you need a cheap place to stay during your staying in Brussels and expect just a place to sleep and an average breakfast this is the place for you otherwise you could be disappointed.
