The ApartHotel is a wonderful quiet building which is around the corner from the 322 Lambermont Hotel and one should try to stay there instead (ask for it)! The rooms are actual apartment suites rather than rooms, much larger and fully functional with a kitchenette and separate living/tv room. The downstairs breakfast room is small but quite functional. Easy to read the Het Laaste Nieus or the IHT. There's marvelous coffee and continental breakfasts or if you ask nicely, they'll make omelets/eggs for you!
They learned it from us in 1990! The bar is also small but better! Everyone was so helpful and courteous. Stay here if you need to on this side of Brussel. Quite easy to get to the airport and eat in Diegum! Lt Col STan
