I stayed here at the end of last month for the 3rd time. There are many other hotels for a similar price in Brussels but this is without doubt the closest to the centre. It is only 10 minute walk to Grand Place. The staff are friendly and all speak good English. Some reviews say the area is dodgy but this isn't true. Check out is at noon so not too early and they allow you to leave your bags. It's about 15 minutes walk to the Eurostar terminal. I didn't have breakfast in the hotel. There are so many cages and bars in the area. I would stay here once again if I came back to Brussels.

It is a cheap place to stay in decent location. It is definitely a "no frills" hotel, the bathroom door didn't even close, the shower curtain was torn and old. There was warm water and a hard bed. The receptionist was nice and helpful.

I chose this hotel based on it's location and the pictures showing the single room I was supposedly booking. The location was as advertised, however the room was far from the standard shown in the photograph. I was on the top floor of the hotel and the whole floor looked as though it was in the process of undergoing some refurbishment. The floorboards were bare and unsanded, and not finished in any way. The (shower) curtain which was covering the window was only big enough to cover two thirds of the window at any time. There was loud swearing coming from the room next door during my first night, which was more than a little disconcerting. The shower room and toilet were clean and functional although there was no hot water at any point during my stay. There was a working flat screen television in the room. The staff were polite throughout my stay.

I chose this hotel only based on it's location - walking distance from the main railway station from where I could catch the bus to the Charleroi Airport. And thats what I got, it's like they read my mind on my requirement.
I got a room on the top floor and so the living space was formed into the roof, like the attic. Anyway, I not complain as I just needed to sleep and leave early next morning.
Cleanliness was ok and not recommended for family.
