I lived here for 3 months as a volunteer intern and loved it. Internet access often crapped out, but wifi was still available if you had a laptop( ground floor, best spots for connection are beside the computers, in the bar, and if you go to the back lounge area, the far far corner gives you another wifi access that is not the hotels, but signal is strong :P Also, there is a plug there.
Many people complained about the self serve kitchen being closed, however that was because it was only open between certain hours in the evening, info at front desk :)
The breakfast food was always pretty good and the kitchen lady is much into Bio/organic food and tried to have in to serve as much as possible.
From the 3 months I spent there, it was great, rooms where cleaned daily, food was fresh, most of the staff was very nice, sometimes it got really loud, but that cant be helped when a group of 50 teenagers are spending the night there!
Location is pretty good, close to everything, however I wouldnt recommend walking around late at night alone. Anywhere in Brussels really. And keep an eye out for pickpockets as with anywhere else.
I would stay there if travelling there again.
