I have just spent three weeks staying at the Europarthotel on the Chausee de Vleurgat, and my experience couldn't have been more different from the previous reviewer's comments. My one-level apartment was spacious, with a well-appointed bathroom (large European style tub with spa jets, a shower and clean water) and galley-style kitchen, a comfortable bed in a separate bedroom and a large living/dining area in which to relax. There is daily housekeeping service (except on Saturday and Sunday) and a free washer/dryer on the lower floor. The building is located not far from a major tram line and steps from a bus line that goes directly to the Central train station. There are supermarkets, brasseries and good restaurants all within walking distance, as is the Avenue Louise. This is a place for do-it-yourselfers, so don't expect hotel-style services. It won't be to everyone's taste, but I appreciated the convenience, privacy and price for a multi-week stay in Brussels.
